Mr. Gitomer is a shareholder of McCausland Keen & Buckman and leads the firm's Litigation practice area. Mr. Gitomer has been involved in all aspects of complex business litigation for over 26 years. His practice focuses in the areas of commercial and complex civil litigation, securities litigation and arbitration, intellectual property litigation, real estate litigation and employment litigation.

Mr. Gitomer's securities litigation experience includes representing customers, brokers and broker-dealers in investment disputes, employment disputes and regulatory investigations and administrative actions by the SEC, NYSE, NASD and state regulators, and involvement in various aspects of hedge fund litigation. His intellectual property litigation experience includes the representation of businesses involved in trademark, copyright and patent infringement and trade secret claims. Mr. Gitomer has extensive experience representing real estate purchasers and sellers, property owners, real estate brokers, landlords and lending institutions in a variety of real estate litigation matters. In the employment area, he has represented employers and employees in litigation involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants, wage and Fair Labor Standards Act claims, and claims involving discrimination and harassment under federal and state law.
