On January 9, 2018, Chris Wright will serve on the Legal Panel at the Angel Venture Fair (AVF) Education Workshop, presented by West Chester University’s Dr. Edwin Cottrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Center and the Ideas x Innovation Network (i2n).
Moderated by Marc Kramer, Executive Director of the Private Investors Forum, the Legal Panel will discuss financing considerations for early stage companies, including: necessary preparations for fund raising; structuring of private placements and crowdfunding; and post-closing considerations. The other panelists are Michael Harrington of Fox Rothschild LLP and Joe Guagliardo of Pepper Hamilton LLP.
The AVF Educational Workshop is the premiere workshop for regional entrepreneurs and startup company founders exploring angel investment funding options to learn how to successfully pitch to investors and prepare for attendance at the annual AVF in May of 2018. AVF brings together the largest gathering of Angel Investors and Entrepreneurs in the Mid-Atlantic region and has showcased over 500 companies in the last 19 years.
