David has played a major role in key real estate transactions in the region for more than three decades, both as general counsel to a major developer and as longtime partner at a large Philadelphia law firm. He works with McCausland Keen + Buckman clients to negotiate, facilitate and close significant transactions.
Over the course of his career, David has handled hundreds of commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate transactions, ranging in value from $5 million to $200 million. This includes extensive experience with acquisitions, dispositions, property management, and lease agreements, as well as development, financing, partnership and joint venture formation, and construction.
In addition, David is a trusted resource in navigating specific and complex aspects of transactions, including community development, LEED compliance, government funding, adaptive re-use of historic buildings, and structuring tax-efficient transactions. David has significant experience teaching and speaking to professional associations and at universities, including the Real Estate Institute at Temple University.
