McCausland Keen + Buckman is proud to announce that attorney Ed Thrasher has joined its real estate practice group. Ed joins McCausland Keen + Buckman as an Associate following three years as in-house counsel for the Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT). AT PREIT, Ed engaged in a range of real estate and landlord-tenant matters, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, redevelopment projects, liens, and commercial contracts. Prior to joining PREIT as in-house counsel, Ed completed a judicial fellowship in the Commerce Division of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Ed graduated from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2013, where he also served as a law review articles editor and contributor. While at Temple Law, he was a recipient of the Honorable Raymond J. Broderick Constitutional Law Scholarship. He earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
Ed is originally from Washington D.C., and has lived in the Philadelphia area since 2005. When not working, Ed enjoys spending time reading, fitness, and volunteering with his local neighborhood association and other organizations.
