Jonathan D. Sokoloff joins McCausland Keen + Buckman’s Trusts & Estate Group

McCausland Keen + Buckman is proud to announce the addition of Jonathan D. Solokoff as Of Counsel to the firm's Trusts & Estate Group.  Jonathan has been practicing law for more than 40 years, with a concentration in estate planning and estate administration.  A focus of his practice is in counseling clients in the structuring of family businesses to accomplish the dual objectives of proper succession planning and reduction of death taxes.  In addition, Jonathan represents both individuals and businesses before the IRS regarding a variety of income tax issues. 

Jonathan has more than 10 years of service as a member of the Executive Committee of the Probate Section of the Philadelphia Bar association and served on the Executive Committee and as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Tax Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.  He is the former President of the Delaware County Estate Planning Council, has chaired the Delaware County Bar Association Orphans’ Court Education Committee and has served 3 terms as the President on the Delaware County Attorney/CPA Forum. 

Jonathan is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude) and The University of Pennsylvania Law School.  He received the degree of Master of Laws in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. 

Jonathan is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States Claims Court.

Jonathan has been a long-time thespian with St. Frances Players since 1987.  He lives in Delaware County with his wife and children.
