McCAUSLAND Keen + Buckman is one of the five founding law firms in the legal community who are part of the initiative to pledge money towards “Justice for the Hungry”, a fundraising challenge to Pennsylvania-based lawyers and law firms to combat food insecurity across Pennsylvania and beyond.
This challenge calls for lawyers and law firms to consider pledging up to $100,000, paid out over the next four years, to an organization of their choosing that provides assistance to food insecure households. McCAUSLAND Keen + Buckman has chosen to support Philabundance, a non-profit food bank that supports the Philadelphia metropolitan area. McCausland Keen + Buckman shareholder Andrew Maguire presented the firm's annual donation while volunteering at Philabundance in January of 2022.
In addition to donations, Justice for the Hungry will encourage law firms and their lawyers and staff to volunteer time to assist organizations in their communities that provide food assistance to needy families and individuals.
