McCausland Keen + Buckman Shareholder Steve Pahides was recently named to the Natural Lands Trust Board of Trustees. Natural Lands is a regional land conservation organization, dedicated to preserving and nurturing nature’s wonders while creating opportunities for joy and discovery in the outdoors for everyone. In his role as a board member, he will bring his leadership and real estate experience to Natural Lands’ projects and goverance.

“Steve has already contributed to several of Natural Lands’ largest land conservation projects such as Erdenheim Farm, Stoneleigh, and Bryn Coed Farms,” said Natural Lands President Molly Morrison. “His extensive involvement serving as a leader in the non-profit world as well as his practical experience in real estate makes him a perfect addition to our leadership team.”

As the Greater Philadelphia region’s oldest and largest land conservation organization, Natural Lands has preserved more than 125,000 acres, including 43 nature preserves totaling more than 23,000 acres. Some 2.5 million people live within five miles of land under the organization’s protection.

“It is an honor to join the Natural Lands Board of Trustees,” said Steve. “I have long admired the organization’s work to preserve and promote open space in our community, and look forward to further supporting this mission.”

A member of the firm’s Real Estate Group, Steve helps clients buy, sell, lease, finance, develop and conserve property.
