Chris Wright to Speak About Latest Innovations in Equity License Transactions

On September 30, 2016, McCausland Keen + Buckman attorney Christopher F. Wright will be speaking at the Association of University Technology Managers Eastern Region Meeting in Philadelphia on the topic of equity license transactions.  The topic is “Start-up Deal Structures:  The Next Wave?”  Kirsten Leute of Osage University Partners and Robert B. McGrath, the Senior Associate Vice Provost at Drexel University, will be joining Chris at the podium.  The panel will bring venture capitalist, technology transfer, and general counsel perspectives on the latest innovations in equity license transactions.  In an equity license transaction, a university or research institution accepts stock or membership interests in an early-stage company as partial consideration for a technology license.
